AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn Bhd (“AIFM”) –Registration No. 200801029135 (830464-T) was established on 25 August 2008 to be a dedicated Islamic investment solutions provider, which offers a comprehensive and innovative range of Shariah-compliant funds and provides investment management services on all Shariah-compliant assets. AmInvest is the brand name for AIFM.
AmFunds Management Berhad has appointed AIFM, a licensed fund manager approved by the Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”) on 12 January 2009, to implement its Shariah-compliant funds’ investment strategies to achieve the objectives of its funds.
AIFM is a holder of Capital Markets and Services Licence for the regulated activities of fund management issued under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007.
As at Financial Year End 2024 (31 March 2024), AIFM is not involved in any material litigation and arbitration, including those pending or threatened, and any facts likely to give rise to any proceedings which might materially affect the business or financial position of AIFM.

c) Cross Trade
The Manager may conduct cross trades between funds and private mandates it currently manages provided that all criteria imposed by the regulators are met.

Kevin Wong Weng Tuck is the Principal Officer of AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn Bhd (AIFM). His responsibilities include business development and marketing of Islamic funds as well as managing the Shariah compliance and governance of AIFM and its investment portfolios. Kevin is also the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of AIFM, overseeing the company’s investments across asset classes, overall investment strategies and portfolio positioning of funds under management. He is the designated fund manager for all Islamic funds under AIFM’s management. He has over 23 years of experience in the financial services, capital markets and funds management industries. In year 2000, he joined AmFunds Management Berhad as an investment analyst. His last position held before CIO was Senior Vice President, Head of Research, which oversaw a team of 15 research personnel that conducted fundamental and relative value analysis on economic, monetary and financial developments, industry sectors, listed and unlisted companies in 18 countries around the globe. Kevin graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Monash University, Australia. He holds a Capital Markets Services Representative's License for the regulated activity of funds management.

J Visvanathan Jaganatha is the designated Compliance Officer overseeing compliance matters in AmInvest. He has more than 39 years of working experience in the banking industry, over which 18 years’ experience are capital markets related within the AmBank Group. He is also currently the Head of Compliance at AmInvestment Bank Berhad. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Victoria University of Technology, Australia. He has completed the relevant examinations for Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) modules and is registered as Head of Compliance with both SC and Bursa Malaysia. He is also a Certified Professional in Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism.

Ms Chee Li Har (Chairman, Independent) was appointed to the Board of AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn Bhd on 1 April 2019 as Independent Non-Executive Chairman. She is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of AmInvestment Bank Berhad. Ms Chee holds a Bachelor of Arts-Economics from University of Malaya and Persatuan Kewangan Malaysia Certification (PKMC). In 2013, she returned to Malaysia under TalentCorp Malaysia Returning Expert Program where she set up a new ‘central treasury’ type function for Hong Leong Bank (M) Berhad named Group Asset and Liabilities. In that role, Ms Chee is responsible for driving and supporting the trajectory growth in the regional business and optimising returns/costs of the bank’s balance sheet. She played the key role in making both structural and tactical balance sheet decisions, particularly in the areas of economic profit, liquidity & interest risk management and regulatory compliance. Prior to her promotion to COO/Head, Group Asset and Liability (GALCO) in Hong Leong Bank, Ms Chee was the Regional Head of Asset and Liabilities Management for South East Asia at Standard Chartered Bank, Singapore. In this role, she led multicultural teams in South East Asia and traded in most interest rate products and derivatives. Ms Chee was well recognised for her leadership abilities and sent for leadership programs at INSEAD, Asia Campus and the SAID Business School at University of Oxford. She believes in sharing expertise and was actively engaged in masterclass training and many speaking engagements in South East Asia, including one for Asian Development Bank. Collaboration, drive, integrity and diversity are values that are of utmost importance to her. In living her values, she is a strong proponent of empowering women and amongst a few initiatives that she is currently engaged in, she sits on the committees of International Women’s Federation of Commerce and Industry Malaysia (IWFCI) and a social enterprise for women in Beladin, East Malaysia. Ms Chee is multi-talented. She is an avid artist and creator of wearable art accessories called GoCHeeKS. She has held 3 art exhibitions in Singapore and Malaysia (in part to raise funds for charities and create awareness for hunger).

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in the United Kingdom since 1986, a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of Malaysia, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries of Singapore and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, United States of America. He has been a Consulting Actuary and Senior Partner with over 30 years of consulting experience with extensive experience in conventional insurance and Takaful for both life and casualty insurance. He also has experience in various assignments on investment consulting for pension and provident funds as well as pension liabilities and pension benefits. En Zainal holds a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Actuarial Science degree from City University London.

Mr Arnold Lim Boon Lay was appointed to the Board of AmFunds Management Berhad on 15 December 2023 as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Mr Arnold Lim is also the Chairman of the Investment Committee of AmFunds Management Berhad and AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn Bhd. He holds a degree in Applied Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia and Master of Business Administration from the HAAS School of Business, University of California at Berkeley. He has substantial investment management experience having spent approximately 30 years in the industry. Throughout Mr Lim’s career, he has held various positions at asset management companies, including Pacific Mutual Fund Berhad, SBB Asset Management Sdn Bhd and CIMB-Principal Asset Management. While at CIMB-Principal Asset Management, initially as Head of Retail Equities and later as Chief Investment Officer, the company was awarded best Fund House by Edge-Lipper for 2012.

Ms Tracy Chen Wee Keng was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of AmInvestment Bank Berhad on 28 October 2020 and is responsible for stewarding the investment bank’s full range of integrated solutions and services including corporate finance, equity capital markets, debt and sukuk originations, private banking, fund management and stockbroking services. She is also a member of the Investment Committee of AmFunds Management Berhad and AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn Bhd. Ms Tracy has more than 30 years’ experience in the investment banking and financial services industry. Prior to joining the AmBank Group, Ms Tracy had served for almost two decades at CIMB Investment Bank where she held several senior roles in coverage and origination of investment banking business including the position of Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Senior Bankers Group. She is regarded as one of the most experienced industry professionals, having advised on numerous high profile and innovative debt and equity transactions. Ms Tracy started her banking career in Ban Hin Lee Bank and Standard Chartered Bank where she gained extensive experience in corporate banking and cash management. She ventured into investment banking when she joined Affin Merchant Bank. Ms Tracy graduated from University Sains Malaysia with a Bachelor of Management (First Class Honours) and holds a Capital Market Services Representative Licence and is also a Chartered Banker, Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers. Ms Tracy is also a Council Member of the Malaysian Investment Banking Association and in this position, she actively engages with other participants in the investment banking industry.
