AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn. Bhd. (“AIFM”) [Registration No. 200801029135 (830464-T)] was incorporated in Malaysia on 25 August 2008 as a dedicated Islamic investment solutions provider. AIFM offers a comprehensive and innovative range of Shariah-compliant funds and provides investment management services across various Shariah-compliant assets.
AIFM and AmFunds Management Berhad (“AFM”) are the funds management division under AmWealth (Group Wealth Management). AmWealth delivers holistic wealth solutions across institutional and corporate clients, SMEs, high net worth individuals and the mass affluent segment, leveraging the expertise and capabilities of its established businesses, which comprise AIFM, AFM, AmPrivate Banking, and AmBank Wealth Management & Bancassurance.
AIFM was appointed by AFM as a licensed fund manager approved by the Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”) on 12 January 2009, to implement the investment strategies of its Shariah-compliant funds in accordance with their respective investment objectives.
AIFM holds a Capital Markets and Services Licence for the regulated activities of fund management pursuant to the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007.
As at the Financial Year ended 31 March 2026, AIFM was not involved in any material litigation, arbitration, or legal proceedings, nor was AIFM aware of any facts or circumstances that might give rise to proceedings that could materially affect its business or financial position.

As at the Financial Year ended 31 March 2026, AIFM managed total assets under management ("AUM") of RM11.5 billion, comprising discretionary mandates and collective investment schemes, including 13 unit trust funds, 2 wholesale funds and 3 private retirement schemes*.

c) Cross Trade

Mirza Shah Bin Abdul Rahim Shah is the Principal Officer (PO) of AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn. Bhd. (AIFM). His responsibilities include business development and marketing of Islamic funds, as well as managing the Shariah compliance and governance of AIFM and its investment portfolios. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn. Bhd. as a Non-Independent Executive Director on 18 April 2025.
Mirza has been with AmBank Group for more than 27 years, where he has extensive experience in financial services, with a specialisation in Islamic finance across corporate banking, capital markets and fund management. Prior to becoming PO, Mirza held the position of Head of Islamic Institutional Sales, where he was responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, leading the sales team in managing client relationships and growth, as well as ensuring compliance with Islamic finance principles.
Before joining AIFM in October 2017, Mirza was part of the Islamic Markets unit within the Debt Markets department at AmInvestment Bank Berhad. In this role, he focused on structuring and executing Shariah-compliant fundraising solutions for large corporates and institutions.
Mirza holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Arizona State University, USA and is a licensed Capital Markets Services Representative from the Securities Commission of Malaysia.

J Visvanathan Jaganatha is the designated Compliance Officer overseeing compliance matters in AmInvest. He has more than 39 years of working experience in the banking industry, over which 18 years’ experience are capital markets related within the AmBank Group. He is also currently the Head of Compliance at AmInvestment Bank Berhad. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Victoria University of Technology, Australia. He has completed the relevant examinations for Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) modules and is registered as Head of Compliance with both SC and Bursa Malaysia. He is also a Certified Professional in Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism.

Ms Chee Li Har (Chairman, Independent) was appointed to the Board of AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn Bhd on 1 April 2019 as Independent Non-Executive Chairman. She is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of AmInvestment Bank Berhad. Ms Chee holds a Bachelor of Arts-Economics from University of Malaya and Persatuan Kewangan Malaysia Certification (PKMC). In 2013, she returned to Malaysia under TalentCorp Malaysia Returning Expert Program where she set up a new ‘central treasury’ type function for Hong Leong Bank (M) Berhad named Group Asset and Liabilities. In that role, Ms Chee is responsible for driving and supporting the trajectory growth in the regional business and optimising returns/costs of the bank’s balance sheet. She played the key role in making both structural and tactical balance sheet decisions, particularly in the areas of economic profit, liquidity & interest risk management and regulatory compliance. Prior to her promotion to COO/Head, Group Asset and Liability (GALCO) in Hong Leong Bank, Ms Chee was the Regional Head of Asset and Liabilities Management for South East Asia at Standard Chartered Bank, Singapore. In this role, she led multicultural teams in South East Asia and traded in most interest rate products and derivatives. Ms Chee was well recognised for her leadership abilities and sent for leadership programs at INSEAD, Asia Campus and the SAID Business School at University of Oxford. She believes in sharing expertise and was actively engaged in masterclass training and many speaking engagements in South East Asia, including one for Asian Development Bank. Collaboration, drive, integrity and diversity are values that are of utmost importance to her. In living her values, she is a strong proponent of empowering women and amongst a few initiatives that she is currently engaged in, she sits on the committees of International Women’s Federation of Commerce and Industry Malaysia (IWFCI) and a social enterprise for women in Beladin, East Malaysia. Ms Chee is multi-talented. She is an avid artist and creator of wearable art accessories called GoCHeeKS. She has held 3 art exhibitions in Singapore and Malaysia (in part to raise funds for charities and create awareness for hunger).

En Mohamed Rozani bin Mohamed Osman (“En Rozani”), a Malaysian, aged 54, was appointed to the Board of AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn. Bhd. on 9 September 2025 as an Independent Non-Executive Director. En Rozani is a Deputy Chairman of the Fund Management Division’s Audit and Risk Management Committee, a joint Board Committee of AmFunds Management Berhad and AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn. Bhd.
En Rozani has more than 20 years of investment management experience. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University, USA and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Computer Engineering) from the University of Virginia, USA.
He began his career in the oil and gas industry as a Sales Engineer for SAAG Corporation. In 1998, he joined Argentum Capital based in the USA as a Fund Manager managing a leveraged absolute return long/short fund using equity, options, ETFs and fixed income. In 2000, he joined KLCS Asset Management as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and moved on to Maybank Investment Management as Senior Portfolio Manager of Fixed Income and assumed the position of Head of Fixed Income in 2004.
From 2006 to 2019, En Rozani was attached to Khazanah Nasional. He joined as the Head of Treasury Management Unit in 2006/Vice President (Finance), and was promoted to Head of Treasury and Liquidity Management/Senior Vice President (Finance) in 2010 where he was responsible for the investment strategy and management of treasury funds.
En Rozani was seconded to the World Bank in Kuala Lumpur by Khazanah Nasional from 2016 to 2019, where he was the task team leader for sustainable finance with the Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation Global Practice. In 2019 he joined the World Bank as a Senior Financial Sector Specialist, continuing his previous work on sustainable finance. His notable achievements included advisory work on the world’s first green sukuk issuance, Indonesia’s first corporate green bond, Malaysia’s Sustainable and Responsible Investment Taxonomy, and advising the Ethiopian sovereign wealth fund on its transformation agenda.
From 2023 to 2025, he was the Senior Advisor/Senior Sustainable Finance Specialist with the Capacity-building Alliance of Sustainable Investment, developing a comprehensive multi-level accredited e-learning programme on sustainable finance.
He is currently the Founder/Senior Partner and Director of Verdantium Sdn. Bhd., providing financial advisory and consultancy services on sustainable finance, Islamic Finance and sovereign wealth fund related topics to various clients including international multilateral organizations. He also sits on the board of SWTS Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

Pn Azian Binti Kassim (“Pn Azian”) was appointed to the Board of AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn Bhd on 30 June 2023 as an Independent Non-Executive Director. She is also a member of the Fund Management Division’s Audit and Risk Management Committee. Pn Azian is a Fellow of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom and a Chartered Accountant of Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She has approximately 30 years of experience in fund management and capital markets with substantial investment management experience, managing external fund managers, significant understanding of risk management and experience with a multi-asset class fund. She was previously the Chief Investment Officer of Maybank Investment Management Sdn Bhd and Syarikat Takaful Keluarga Malaysia Berhad. She currently sits on the boards of MRT Corporation Sdn Bhd, Perak Transit Berhad and Tune Insurance Malaysia Berhad, and is also an investment panel member of Urusharta Jamaah Sdn Bhd.

Mr Eqhwan Mokhzanee Bin Muhammad was appointed as the Chairman of the Investment Committee of AmFunds Management Berhad (AFM) and AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn. Bhd. (AIFM) on 1 April 2026. He is currently the CEO of AmBank Islamic Berhad, a position he has held since April 2015. He was the Group Sustainability Champion of AmBank Group from 2019 to May 2023, where he was responsible to establish and oversee AmBank Group Sustainability Department in order to drive AmBank Group’s sustainability/ ESG agenda.
Mr Eqhwan commenced his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London and subsequently joined the corporate advisory practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Kuala Lumpur. Thereafter, he worked with local and foreign banks where he was exposed to corporate banking, debt capital market, corporate finance, financial advisory and real estate investment. Other than in banking, his career has provided him with experience in corporate management, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategy development and operational start-ups within and outside Malaysia.
Mr Eqhwan has Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Economics from the University of Cambridge. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accounts (MIA). Mr Eqhwan is also a Fellow Chartered Banker with the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) and a Chartered Professional in Islamic Finance (CPIF) with the Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (CIIF).

Ms Goh Wee Peng was appointed as a Member of the Investment Committee of AmFunds Management Berhad (“AFM”) and AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn. Bhd. (“AIFM”) on 23 April 2025. She is the Managing Director of Group Wealth Management (“GWM”) at AmBank Group and a member of the Group’s Senior Management Team.
She leads the Bank’s integrated wealth franchise under AmWealth. Under her leadership, AmWealth delivers holistic wealth solutions across institutional and corporate clients, SMEs, high net worth individuals and the mass affluent segment, leveraging the expertise and capabilities of its established businesses, which comprise the funds management division (AFM and AIFM), AmPrivate Banking, and AmBank Wealth Management & Bancassurance.
Ms Goh has over 28 years of experience in the financial services industry, including more than 22 years in funds management. Her expertise spans across money broking, bond trading and asset management.
Prior to her current role, she was the Chief Executive Officer of AFM. The funds management division of AmWealth, namely AFM and AIFM are multiple award-winning fund houses with over four decades of investment track record. In recognition of her leadership, she was named CEO of the Year (Malaysia) by Asia Asset Management at the 2025 Best of the Best Awards. Before her appointment as CEO in August 2018, she held various senior leadership positions within AFM and AIFM, including Acting CEO, Deputy CEO and Chief Investment Officer (Fixed Income).
Ms Goh holds a Bachelor of Business (Economics and Finance) from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. She holds the Persatuan Forex License from the Institute of Bank-Bank Malaysia, is registered as a Unit Trust Consultant with the Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM) and is an Employee of Registered Person (ERP). She is also certified under the Investor Protection Professional Certification (IPPC). Previously, she held the Capital Markets Services Representative’s Licence (Modules 9 and 10) and was a member of Persatuan Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia (PPKM).

Mr Kevin Wong Weng Tuck was appointed as a Member of the Investment Committee of AmFunds Management Berhad (AFM) and AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn. Bhd. (AIFM) on 23 April 2025. He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AFM, overseeing the fund management business of both AFM and AIFM. He was appointed to the Board of AmFunds Management Berhad on 18 April 2025 as a Non-Independent Executive Director.
With 30 years of experience in financial services, capital markets, and fund management, Mr Kevin previously served as the Principal Officer (PO) of AIFM. In this role, he led business development and marketing for Islamic funds while overseeing Shariah compliance and governance for AIFM and its investment portfolios. He has also served as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of AIFM, managing investment strategies, asset allocation, and portfolio construction for all funds under management. Additionally, he was the designated fund manager for all Islamic funds managed by AIFM.
Mr Kevin began his career with AFM in 2000 as an investment analyst. Before becoming CIO, he was Senior Vice President and Head of Research, leading a team of 15 analysts covering economic trends, monetary policies, industry sectors, and companies across 18 countries.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from Monash University, Australia, and a Capital Markets Services Representative’s License for the regulated activity of fund management.

Mr Wong Yew Joe was appointed as a Member of the Investment Committee of AmFunds Management Berhad (AFM) and AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn. Bhd. (AIFM) on 22 April 2026. He is currently the Head, Group Investments at AmWealth Group Wealth Management (“AmWealth”), where he oversees investment solutions across all segments within the AmWealth’s coverage. AmWealth brings together the expertise and services of established sub-brands under the AmBank Group, namely AFM and AIFM, AmPrivate Banking and AmBank Wealth Management & Bancassurance.
Prior to his current role, Yew Joe was Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of AFM, where he led the firm’s investments across all asset classes. His responsibilities included leading investment analysis, formulating strategies, and overseeing portfolio positioning for the funds under management. He was the designated fund manager for all unit trusts, wholesale funds, private retirement schemes (PRS), and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) managed by AFM.
With over two decades of experience in financial services and funds management, Yew Joe has played a key role in product innovation, business development, and client relationship management. He joined AFM in 2006 as a fund manager and was the Head of Fixed Income (Islamic), where he oversaw investments in sukuk and Islamic fixed income instruments.
Yew Joe holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He is also a holder of the Capital Markets Services Representative’s Licence for the regulated activity of fund management.

Encik Shamsul Bahrom Mohamed Ibrahim was appointed as a Member of the Investment Committee of AmFunds Management Berhad (AFM) and AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn. Bhd. (AIFM) on 1 July 2026. He is currently the Group Chief Risk Officer (GCRO) of AmBank Group, a position he has held since April 2026. In his role as GCRO, he provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Group’s enterprise-wide risk management framework, ensuring that risk governance, risk culture and control disciplines remain robust across the organisation.
Encik Shamsul is a seasoned banking professional with more than 25 years of experience in internal audit, assurance, governance and control. He commenced his career with AmBank Group in 1999 as an executive and rose through the ranks to lead the Group Internal Audit function before assuming his current role as GCRO.
Throughout his career, Encik Shamsul has developed deep expertise across audit, risk, compliance, governance and financial crime control. His transition from internal audit leadership to the Group’s senior-most risk role provides him with a distinctive perspective on enterprise-wide risk stewardship, combining the discipline of assurance and control evaluation with a broader understanding of strategic risk management, governance and organisational resilience.
Encik Shamsul previously served as Chairman of AICB’s Chief Internal Auditors Networking Group (CIANG) for four terms, reflecting his standing and contribution within the internal audit and banking profession. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Finance and Accounting from the University of Salford, Manchester. He was also conferred the Fellow Chartered Banker (FCB) designation by the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB).
His professional credentials include the Certification for Bank Auditors (CBA), Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Crime Compliance, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Chartered Professional in Islamic Finance (CPIF), Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate (CSX-f) and Qualified Risk Auditor (QRA), underscoring the breadth of his expertise across banking, audit, compliance, financial crime, Islamic finance, cybersecurity and risk management.

Haslinda Binti Ibrahim is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn. Bhd. (AIFM). She has over 30 years of experience in the financial services and fund management industries, with a specialisation in Shariah equities. Haslinda is responsible for overseeing the company’s investments across asset classes, overall investment strategies, and portfolio positioning of funds under management.
Haslinda joined AmFunds Management Berhad in year 2000 as a Fund Manager/Analyst. Her last position held before CIO was Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Equity at AIFM. She managed domestic and regional Shariah equity funds for pension funds, unit trust funds, corporates, and institutions with varied investment objectives. Her career in fund management began at PFM Capital Sdn. Bhd. in year 1994 as an Investment Executive in the research department, and she subsequently moved to the fund management department.
Haslinda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance (BSc. Econs, Hons) from the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, Wales, and is a licensed Capital Markets Services Representative.
